Chai Spiced Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients:

  • 1 can full-fat coconut milk (unsweetened)
  • 10 oz dark chocolate chips
  • 4 teaspoons Chai Five Original Blend
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ¼ cup cacao powder and/or shredded coconut flakes

Directions:

  • In a small sauce pan heat coconut milk, coconut oil, and Chai Five blend over low heat. Simmer for 5 minutes over low. Remove from heat.
  • Strain through a sieve and pour over chocolate chips. Stir until chocolate chips are fully melted and combined. Add maple syrup.
  • Transfer into a bowl and refrigerate for about 3-4 hours or overnight.
  • Scoop 1 tbsp of chocolate mixture and form into little balls with the palms of your hands. Repeat for rest of mixture. Roll truffles in cacao powder. Transfer into an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
